Carol Ann Thomas lives in Albany, New York where she works as a computer programmer for NYS.

When she isn't working she can often be found with camera in hand taking photos or editing photos on her computer.

Carol discovered her passion for photography at the age of 15, when her father purchased a Cannon AE1 Program. She quickly discovered that through the lens of a camera she could capture the beauty of the world around her. Since then she has continued to look at the world through the lens of the camera. She owns three film SLR cameras, several digital point-and-shoot cameras, and a digital SLR camera. Her work is a combination of all three of these camera types, but her present camera of choice is her digital SLR. Her preferred choice of composition is nature, landscape and architecture.

She has participated in sevaral art shows in the Albany area. All future shows will be listed here as they are announced.
